Little Green Ninja Rides Again!

You may have heard that we signed a new directing team, Our Friends Electric. Made up of Feidhlimidh Woods and Rory Bresnihan, Our Friends Electric are a unique directing team who can direct live action, motion graphics, animation, post production SFX, or a combination of any of the above. This spot, for Y&R Dublin is their directing debut for Maxfilms. If you were a fan of the little green ninja in the first commercial, directed by Feidhlimidh, then you’ll see that he’s developed a little further here. (Note that he’s wearing a tux rather than his Karate suit.)

New Day, New Talent..

…we’re always looking for new talent, and we think we found some. Everybody say hi to Simon Eustace.

Simon is a young director who despite being a bit of a rock star in the band “The Chapters” is also a very talented director. Having completed his arts degree in Trinity College Dublin, he then went on to study film production and direction, and then started to direct videos for his band, The Chapters. Then these guys, “The Coronas” asked him to direct their videos.

Simon was awarded best video and best directed video at the Bray Music Video Festival in May of this year, and was also nominated for four awards in the first ever IMTV Awards.

So here is his video for The Coronas for “Listen Dear”.
