Clearly Vodafone are still spending money, even though others may not be.
This is the second blog in a row, where I seem to feature work from the red giant. (I’m not even a Vodafone customer.)
But this is an interesting piece of work, where musician and sound recordist, Jol Mulholland from Auckland New Zealand, made this symphony from ringtones.
That’s right, he recreated Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture from ringtones. Now at first glance, you kind of think to yourself, yeah right, sounds too good. But after you’ve watched and marvelled, watch the making off, where you see how Jol managed to make ringtones, making the spot more true.
All I can say from a production point of view. What a choreographical nightmare. But what ‘fun’ they must have had rehearsing and getting it just right. Good job.
